Today it’s just me on the podcast for a shorter episode to bring you support on your journey, and we’ll be talking about our relationship with food, especially as it relates to portion sizes, serving sizes and re-connecting to what your body needs. We'll be discussing "portion sizes" as established by our past history with dieting, serving sizes as they appear in the label of food products, yield and number of servings in recipes, blogs and cookbooks, and why sticking with these keeps us disconnected from our own internal signals. I'll be sharing some resources by registered dietitians about externally guided eating and internally guided eating and we also briefly get into some of the nuance when it comes to practicing intuitive eating while also being vegan.
